🌱 Job Focus: Enhancing Stress Tolerance in Camelina through Multi-Omics Integration

In this position, you will contribute to a high-impact research project focusing on Brassicaceae (Camelina). The project aims to improve plant stress tolerance using integrative multi-omics techniques, including:

  • Genomics & Epi-pangenomics
  • Transcriptomics & Epigenomics
  • Proteomics & Metabolomics
  • Machine learning & Data integration tools

👩‍🔬 Position: Research Associate / Postdoctoral Researcher – Data Integration & Omics Analysis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with international and national research partners on multi-omics data analysis.
  • Analyze and integrate large-scale datasets (e.g., NGS, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, phenotyping).
  • Apply machine learning for pattern recognition in stress response mechanisms.
  • Conduct transcriptomic and epigenetic profiling for plant stress adaptation studies.
  • Present findings at global conferences and publish in high-impact journals.

✅ Candidate Profile – Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Biology, or related fields.

  • Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R) and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of high-throughput data analysis (e.g., NGS, metabolite profiling).
  • Independent, solution-driven, and collaborative work style.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
