The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has opened applications for its Co-operative Research Programme (CRP) Research Fellowships (2026–2027 Call), dedicated to international research in Sustainable Agricultural & Fisheries Systems.
Research Focus & Fisheries Scope
The OECD CRP fellowship supports international scientific mobility and collaborative research across key ocean and aquaculture themes:
- Sustainable Aquaculture Management & Innovation: Investigating resource efficiency, fish disease management, and climate-resilient aquaculture systems.
- Ocean Fisheries Policy & Stock Conservation: Evaluating sustainable harvest levels, marine ecosystem services, and economic policy instruments for fisheries management.
- Aquatic Biogeochemistry & Resilience: Strengthening international research networks across OECD member countries.
Fellowship Benefits & Key Details
- Duration: 6 to 26 weeks research visits at host research institutions in participating OECD countries.
- Support: Travel expenses, monthly subsistence allowance, and international research networking support.

Eligibility Requirements
- Senior scientists, postdoctoral researchers, and academic faculty working in OECD member countries.
- Ph.D. degree with a proven track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications in fisheries science, aquaculture, or aquatic resource economics.
