Project Focus & Computational Scope
Elucidating how organismal proteomes respond to acute environmental stressors like heat, drought, and pathogen pressure is critical for global food security. This doctoral research project focuses on:
- Investigating functional defense-associated peptides and proteomic remodeling under environmental stress.
- Combining high-throughput mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) with advanced bioinformatic pipelines and structural biology.
- Contributing to the construction of a comprehensive Crop Proteome Atlas spanning major food crops.
