Why This Opportunity Matters
Sea-going research posts are rare in Indian fisheries recruitment — most openings are desk or lab-based. This YP-I position puts you aboard research vessels doing real marine science: deep-sea fish taxonomy, oceanographic data analysis and on-board documentation. For a B.F.Sc. or zoology graduate, a year (or more, since the post is renewable) at India’s leading marine fisheries institute is a launchpad for a career in marine research, fisheries management or oceanography.
Apply early — the window closes on 2 November 2026.
