As a GIS and Remote Sensing Researcher, you will support multidisciplinary research focused on Greenland’s Arctic environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing spatial data using R, Python, SQL, QGIS, and ArcGIS Pro
  • Supporting biological fieldwork across Greenland
  • Collaborating on scientific reports, publications, and data visualizations

🎓 Required Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in one of the following disciplines:

  • Biology
  • Physical Geography
  • Agricultural Sciences
  • Environmental Sciences or a closely related natural science field

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience with GIS and remote sensing tools
  • Programming proficiency in R, SQL, and Python
  • Familiarity with QGIS and ArcGIS Pro
  • Experience with biological fieldwork or environmental data analysis
  • Knowledge of Greenlandic society and language is a plus, but not mandatory

  • Collect, process, and interpret environmental and biological datasets
