Dr. Baoye He’s research group in the Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology at Texas A&M University is offering exciting graduate student and postdoctoral research positions starting Fall 2025 or later.

🔬 About the Research Lab: Dr. Baoye He’s Lab at Texas A&M

The lab focuses on molecular mechanisms of plant-pathogen communication, with special emphasis on:

  • 🌐 Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) and their role in inter-kingdom communication
  • 🧬 Cross-kingdom RNA transfer between plants and microbes
  • 🔬 Advanced tools like molecular biology, live-cell imaging, genetics, and bioinformatics to investigate signaling pathways and plant defense mechanisms

The long-term vision is to transform how we understand and manage plant diseases through molecular and genetic insights.
